PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT JESUS CHRIST, AND WESTERVILLE OHIO NEEDS TRANSFORMATION FROM THE CENTERPOINT OUT

· In the spring of 2009, CenterPoint Church’s Lead Team was faced with a major task — the discernment of a new God-given vision for ministry.  After a long process of prayer and fasting we felt God call us to multiply – disciples, leaders, groups and even a new site.

· It came about through the natural process of living out our values.  “We believe in initiating new churches using innovative ministry to reach new people for Christ”.

· We look forward to sharing the love of Christ with you.  We are a real, relevant, relational and responsive church.  Our new Westerville core team members have been equipping themselves for this journey.  Looking to learn more?  Come see us!

Annehurst “Reads” Program

CenterPoint Westerville provides tutoring support (reading only) on Thursday mornings  from 9:00AM – 10:00AM and teacher assistance (all subjects) on Thursday afternoons 1:00PM – 3:00PM.  We still need volunteers for both time slots.  This is a great way to help out our community!  If you would like to be involved in this program please see Pastor Jon.

Pray in the Cafe…

Every Tuesday at 7PM, join Pastor Dave and Vicki at our Lewis Center campus for a meaningful time of prayer in the cafe every week.  They’ll be there, eager to lift up the needs of our community with you.

H.E.R.O.I.C. Youth Group meets every Sunday afternoon from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the following location…

Center Point Church Lewis Center.

*The group is for is for youth from both campuses in sixth grade and up.  We would love to see you there!

Alpha Class….

Are you a new Christian or maybe a Christian looking to learn more?  Perhaps you also know someone who wants to know more. How about our ALPHA course?  The course is designed to explore the basics of the Christian faith.  It’s a 10 week course (2 hours each week) that includes dinner, a brief talk, and small group discussions on frequently asked spiritual questions.  It’s a place to ask your questions and explore the faith at your own pace.  No question is too simple or too hostile.  If you are interested please mark your LGA flap or see Pastor Jon.  This course will begin on March 5th!

Men’s Group…

We have begun a new Men’s group that meets every Thursday at 7:00PM at the Governor’s Smokeshop (previously known as Uptown Cigars) 33 N State St in Westerville.  Come join us for a relaxing evening of fellowship or if you’d like more information, please contact Pastor Jon at  or Myles Bancroft at Bancroft..
